97 Mid-State Students receive ‘Tools of the Trade’ scholarship to help complete apprenticeships
Mid-State Technical College is proud to announce 97 construction and industrial trade apprentices received Tools of the Trade scholarships from Ascendium this year. Each apprentice received $2,000 to use toward the purchase of equipment, tools, clothing, tuition and other needs that help them complete the required education and training for their trade. Registration is now open for Mid-State Technical College’s summer and fall terms, and each semester brings its own set of opportunities. This summer, students can choose to start an associate degree, technical diploma or certificate with classes starting in May and June. Degree options include hospitality, university transfer and 20 business-related programs and certificates.
